It is so important that WE MARCH WHERE WE LIVE, in John Faso’s backyard and our home base. There are many marches throughout New York State on January 20, including New York City and buses will originate here and head to Washington DC. But NY-19 is an epicenter of the Resistance. We are in the national spotlight and an important swing district that will be key to flipping the House in 2018. The battle for our district is a weathervane for the entire country, a contest that will be as prominent and pivotal as the recent special election in Alabama. A strong showing here will send a clear message to whomever replaces Faso that we demand a true representative of the people and NOT one beholden to the Bannons, Mercers, and Singers of this world.
We have a great speaker and music line-up. Some of our specials here:
Didi Barrett, Assembly District 106
Jabin Ahmed Ruhii, Muslim Youth Coordinator
Cricket Coleman, won Coroner race
Kathy Leck Eldridge, won in a landslide
Tiffany Garriga, Second Ward Alderwoman
Erin Stamper, Democratic Campaign Organizer
Joyce St. George, announcing 102 Assembly District Run
Merriam-Webster’s word of the year is FEMINISM. The future of our country and our planet depend on equal participation of women, equal rights for women, and equal power to women.
