THE OFFICIAL ADVENTURES OF KIERON & JADE
When playwright Kieron Barry and his longtime girlfriend broke up, he was stunned. It took him a long time to process the ‘why’ and the ‘what did I do wrong’. Naturally, to try and sort it all out, he wrote.
The result is “The Official Adventures of Kieron & Jade.” It isn’t about the break-up. It’s about the pros and cons of whether to write about the break-up. Get it?
And it’s a comedy besides.
This is the world premiere of a new work written by Kieron Barry. Best known for his one act comedy, “Numbers”, he has also been showcased locally in the enormously successful 2012 production of “Tomorrow in the Battle” at Stageworks/Hudson. It was hailed by the Albany Times Union as “one of the most remarkable pieces of theater in recent memory.”
