Laleh’s passion for healthy living and vitality has been a guiding force throughout her life. She is a certified Kundalini yoga teacher as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and trained extensively with Gurmukh and Hari Kaur Kalsa. She is also certified through the Yogaworks method, a Reiki Master, and certified fitness trainer.
With her comprehensive background in yoga, meditation, and movement, Laleh has been teaching classes and leading workshops at NYC health clubs and yoga studios, including Equinox and Golden Bridge Yoga for 20 years. She started her career in the fitness industry as a hip hop dancer/teacher and private trainer, which later evolved into her her dedication to meditation and yoga. Recently, Laleh operated a yoga retreat center in upstate New York, and enjoys teaching yoga at destination retreats.
Laleh graduated from Virginia Tech University with degrees in Industrial Engineering/Work Physiology, and Music. Her original music blends spiritual messages with exotic dance grooves in her independently released album.
She believes when we unite the body, mind, and spirit through the ancient practices of meditation and yoga, life naturally becomes more balanced and joyful!
