Hudson, New York

For the last four weeks PS21: Performance Spaces for the 21st Century has presented their popular “Just For Fun” program, a series of free Friday afternoon events created especially for kids and their families. The live performances have featured dancing, drumming, storytelling and a little bit of magic.

This week PS21 presents SKINK: Acrobatic Dance with Brian Sanders on Friday, August 7 at 1:00pm. Brian Sanders’ dance company JUNK offers an amazing program of acrobatics combined with modern dance. Brian gets us laughing at his unexpected imaginative use of everyday objects in his technically amazing acrobatic dances.

This event, just like all the “Just for Fun” programs, is free to attend and is held at The Tent at PS21, located at 2980 Route 66 in Chatham, NY. Reservations are not required. For other information about this or any other event at PS21, please call (518) 392-6121.

“The kids who attend our free Friday afternoon events have a blast,” said Judy Grunberg, PS21 President. “We’re providing a very high level of entertainment at no cost to them. They get to experience and create art in their own backyard.”
