The Hunter’s Full Moon will come up at 6:37 p.m. this Wednesday, October 8. I’m planning to view it from the cemetery, where there is a steep hillside with a view to the east looking toward the Berkshires. There will be a near full eclipse of this moon, but it happens in the wee hours of the morning, so I probably won’t catch it. The weather forecast looks fairly good at the moment, so hopefully it won’t be obscured by clouds.

It might be even better to check out this moon on Thursday, when it will be one day past full, but will rise an hour later when it should be dark outside.
