Votes count in Columbia County. Really, really count. Elections are won and lost by as few as one or two votes.
If you live here, full time or part time, you can vote here. It doesn’t have to be your primary residence, and if it isn’t your primary residence, it won’t affect anything else. Not your taxes. Not your driver’s license. Not anything.
So please, if you care about your city, your town, your village, register today, or at the latest tomorrow. Bring a registration form into the Board of Elections office at 401 State Street before 5 tomorrow, Friday, October 9, or mail it to be postmarked tomorrow, Friday, October 9.
If you’re a second homeowner, check the box asking for an absentee ballot application.
Please. Vote where it counts. And where your votes are counted. By hand. (Columbia County may be the only county in the country to protect your vote from election theft and machine failure, by hand-counting all ballots)
Use the link above to download a registration form. Today! Or tomorrow!
