AOH’s newest program, Local Characters, is a series of short videos featuring lively excerpts from interviews with residents conducted by AOH director Paul Ricciardi. In each, participants share stories and reveal what makes them tick.

In this latest segment, part-time North Chatham resident KIM SYKES talks about art, finding a sense of purpose and, as artistic director of Girl Be Heard, empowering girls to become leaders, change-makers and activists through theater-making.

Previous episodes include interviews with Wassaic Project’s WILL HUTNICK, Rock Steady Farm’s D ROONEY and North East Community Center’s JACKIE OSNATO. These are all available for viewing on the AOH website and YouTube channel.
