On Saturday, August 5, the Hudson Area Library will mark more than 55 years of service to the community and their first year in their new facility with a fun night of celebration and fundraising.

“Booked for the Evening” will be held at a private home just outside of Hudson. The cocktail reception and silent auction begin at 6:00 pm followed by dinner and a “call for the cause.” Guests will have the opportunity to bid on unique experiences and numerous items donated by generous local businesses during the silent auction. Library lovers will also have the opportunity to support the Library’s History Room, expanded programming for children and families, and to help broaden accessibility to the Library during the “call for the cause.”

Generous “Booked for the Evening” featured sponsors include honorary host, David Murphy, Ellen and Alan Goldner, Tessy Keller and Jay Neuschatz of TK Garden and Home, The Barlow Hotel and The Croff House, and Kristin Gamble, among many others.

For more information and to RSVP, please visit HudsonAreaLibrary.org or call 518-828-1792 ext. 101.
