In this podcast, a conversation with photographer Richard Edelman from his home in Saugerties, Ulster Co., NY. Recorded over two days in March 2019.

Edelman is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a graduate degree from Pratt Institute. His photographs are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal; the Brooklyn Museum; the Polaroid International Collection in Germany; Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris; and the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse.

He was formerly on the faculty at the New School and also taught at the School of Visual Arts and the International Center for Photography. Richard was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 gastrointestinal cancer.

He succumbed to the disease on Sunday, August 4th at his home. He is missed but not forgotten.
