On New Year’s Eve, at midnight, the bells of the Reformed Dutch Church in Claverack will toll 300 times to ring in the grand new year of 2016 and the 300th year since the founding of the church’s first congregation in 1716. This marks the beginning of the church’s Tricentennial Celebration. All are invited to join in by stopping by the church at 11:30 p.m. prior to the bell ringing for prayers and singing.
