Free yoga classes for teen girls, ages 11-18, will be offered at the Roeliff Jansen Community Library on Thursdays, July 14 and July 21, at 6:30 pm.

The classes will be taught by Roberta Roll, who says the sessions will “introduce beginning students to the practice of hatha yoga and meditation in a relaxed, focused and fun way, and will offer students with some experience an opportunity to extend and deepen their practice.”

Sign-up is required. Call 325-4101 to register.

Students should bring their own yoga mats if they have them. Some extra mats will be provided.

Roeliff Jansen Community Library, which is chartered to serve Ancram, Copake and Hillsdale, is located at 9091 Route 22, approximately one mile south of the light at the Hillsdale intersection of Routes 22 and 23. For information on hours and events, call 518 325-4101 or visit the library’s website
