Three local authors, A.W. (Andrew) Barnes, Andrea Kleine, and Debby Mayer, will read from their works at Prose & Prosecco, a benefit for the Claverack Library on Saturday April 16 from 5-7 PM. Antique dealer Kathy Pakay and photographer Sedat Pakay will host this literary evening at their home, 230 Route 217 in Claverack. Attendees can admire their 19th-century home, filled with photographs and antiques, while enjoying delicious snacks and, of course, Prosecco. The authors will have copies of their books for sale. Admission is $10.
