Lenore Malen will present excerpts from Scenes from Paradise, her film shot at The Fields Sculpture Park featuring Dan Devine’s Sheep Farm piece. Lenore will actors bring Jessica Weinstein and Blake Haberman to perform an interactive piece in the park timed to coincide with the release of the film. The sheep will be present as participants of this work. The event will end with a reception in the Benenson Visitors Center.

Jessica Weinstein (Eve) is an actress and interactive performing artist. She creates new theater and live film with her company Anonymous Ensemble, and collaborates as an actor with Mabou Mines and other visual and performing artists. Her ten-foot tall alter egos include the German cabaret and film star Tall Hilda, and the singer-songwriter Ellipsa MG. She has created and performed new work on every continent but Antarctica.

Actor, mime and chorographer Blake Haberman (Adam) attended NYU’s Experimental Theater Wing from 2002-06 and L’Ecole Lecoq in Paris from 2007-009. He appeared in Pagliacci’s Cavalleria at the Metropolitan Opera in April 2015 and as Trinculo in the Tempest at the NY Classical Theater in 2013. In March of 2012, Asbestos Project, the two man multi-media performance team he co-founded, was selected for a month long residency at Dance Box in Kobe, Japan. There he created The Infinite Bliss of the Hungry Ghost Realm, a mime/butoh dance piece confronting the samsaric concept of the Hungry Ghost as a manifestation of craving and desire.
