The January joint meeting of the Columbia County and Mid-Hudson chapters of Citizens’ Climate Lobby will take place this coming Monday, January 11, 6-7pm on Zoom: https://citizensclimatelobby.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=6f02e2d67ce01f1c3e7f2a759&id=96770bb6c7&e=f4ff9d5a73 or join by phone: 1-929-205-6099 (Meeting ID: 224-608-3231 Passcode: 12517)
We’ll begin with highlights of this month’s CCL International Call, which features Dr. Noah Kaufman, economist at the Columbia University Center on Global Energy Policy. To learn more and to join that call (which takes place this Saturday, Jan. 9, at 1 pm) go to https://community.citizensclimate.org/events/item/23/5501,
The focus of our Monday chapter meeting will be on specific actions to support passage of effective and equitable climate legislation in 2021. Those present–newcomers as well as seasoned members–will break into four action teams to share ideas and begin work on selected goals.
Attendees will also learn how to find and start using one of CCL’s new online tools–the Action Tracker. (Hint: It’s on that amazing and ever-growing member resource, Community, which you can access as soon as you join CCL at citizensclimatelobby, org.)
Looking forward to seeing you this Monday at 6 pm!
