A new monthly book group is forming at the Library. The group will meet on the first Sunday of the month, and is limited to ten people. The first meeting will be held Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 pm, at the Chatham Middle School Library, adjacent to the Chatham Public Library. The selection for this meeting is “Atonement” by Ian McEwan. Books are available for loan at the downstairs desk of the library. “Atonement,” published in 2001, has won numerous awards. The “Observer” cities it as one of the 100 greatest novels ever written. Ten copies of “Atonement” are now available at the Chatham Public Library. Those interested in joining the discussion can sign out the books, and join the meeting on Sunday afternoon, May 3rd at 2:00 pm.
