Animalkind received two grants this month, totaling $50,000, for its spaying efforts and medical care for pets. PetSmart Charities, a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets, gave Animalkind a $40,000 grant. Animalkind also announced they were awarded a grant of $10,000 from Banfield Charitable Trust. Funding from this grant will go toward providing medical care for pets of low-income pet owners.
