Featuring professional dancers and local young performers, choreographer Adam H. Weinert’s RIP THE NUT is a pantomime-style, Hudson Valley-inspired mash-up of the Rip Van Winkle story and Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite.

The reason I taped the show is that one of our students at MC Smith’s HUDSON READS program, Elijah, was one of the performers. We showed the video to our HUDSON READS class yesterday, and they loved it.
