Join us Sunday, June 24th for a tree-dedication ceremony to honor the late Joel Allen, Executive Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia County from 1980 to 2007, and creator of the Master Gardener Volunteer program of CCE Columbia County. Come celebrate Joel’s legacy with Cornell Cooperative Extension. Activities will be held from 10 AM to noon at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center located at 479 Route 66 in Hudson, NY. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties mission is to provide research-based gardening information and services to county residents such as soil testing, identification of pests and diseases, and answering gardener’s horticultural questions.
