COLUMBIA COUNTY, NY — Wreaths made by community members, organizations, local businesses and artists will be on display at the James Vanderpoel ‘House of History’ throughout the weekend, marking the 33rd Annual Gallery of Wreaths and Silent Auction to benefit the Columbia County Historical Society (CCHS), hosted by the CCHS Volunteers.

The silent auction is an important fundraiser for the Columbia County Historical Society, and helps support exhibitions and programs for county children and adults. In addition to participating in a holiday raffle, guests can bid on live, dried, artificial and mixed media wreaths all weekend, and are encouraged to return to keep an eye on their favorite wreaths. This exhibition is free and open to the public — bidding is optional.

The silent auction closes on Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm, and winners will be notified beginning at 4:30pm. Winners may remove their wreaths that evening or pick them up the following week, by December 7th.

Need to start holiday shopping? The CCHS Museum Shop located in the James Vanderpoel House will be open and will be running a Members-Only 20% Off Sale from Friday through Sunday, excluding handmade artisan pieces.
