If you are close to retirement age, facing forced retirement because of Covid 19, or have been retired for a while, the keynote presentation held on Saturday October 24 of the North Chatham Free Library’s series “Creating a Vibrant Retirement” is for you. This Zoom session starts at 2:00.
Presenter Francis L. Battisti, PhD, will help participants answer the question “how can l create and sustain a vibrant lifestyle for myself during this next stage of living?” He will focus on how planning and living a vibrant, mental, spiritual and physical lifestyle in retirement is far more than having enough money—it is about changing how you envision yourself. This workshop, the first to be offered free in our area, will reinforce this mindset and engage participants in a meaningful exploration of what they want to create for their future, even if they are retired already.
Dr. Battisti has a national reputation in the field of healthy aging and has presented sessions on aging well at numerous national organizations. He is an exceptionally dynamic and engaging speaker who will allow time for questions and answers. In previous stages of his life, Dr, Battisti was a practicing psychotherapist, college professor and Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer of SUNY Broome, and a consultant for aging service providers.
Advance registration is required to get the Zoom link or phone call-in number for each session. Contact the library via email@mail@northchathamlibrary.org or call (518) 766-3211. Staff is available to help you learn Zoom by calling days ahead.
